This is the second installment of the hillarious Bubbles Yablonski mis-happs, titled Bubbles in Trouble. In this episode Bubbles is in Amish Country solving yet another murder crime. Along the way, she cleans a prized cow with VO5, convinces her "new" Amish family that her gold toenail polish is actually a toe fungus, and has a mishap with an exploding barrell of rootbeer all over the kitchen..... The laughs never stop comming with this one. If you loved the first book in this series, you will really enjoy the second as well. I give this one 5 really big stars!

In this second installment of Stohmeyer's lively series Bubbles is as fun loving and adventurous as in the first. From start to finish this is a fun filled, laugh out loud novel with a decent plot and some interesting new characters. I'm looking forward tor eading the rest in this well done series!

Bubbles Yablonsky changes from a hairdresser who wears tank tops, stiletto heels, and major make-up to an undercover assignment in an Amish community. This book is fun, although the plot is truly ludicrous! It has many funny moments and was quick to read.

Bubbles is a riot. I have to say that stiletto is one of my all time favorie heroes too. Imagine a brainy Barbie masquerading as Amish with missing persons. Sarah Strohmeyer's characters are too funny. You will laugh out loud.

All of the "Bubbles" books are a quick read. The Bubbles character is similar to the Stephanie Plum and Kinsey Millhone characters. Lots of funny events happening, adventure and suspense.

This is book two in the Bubbles series. Bubbles must go undercover to Whooppee, PA, in the middle of Amish county to look for her missing friend, solve a murder and a newpaper story to write. Typical Bubbles fare. All the regulars appear. I enjoyed it.

I love to read the "Bubbles" series between the darker mystery novels. Reading a light mystery usually cheers me up. This is the 2nd book in the series.

I enjoyed this book. Its an easy read and it keeps you guessing all the way to the end. Bubbles is a character that you can identify with and a good role model for any teenager her daughter's age (17) or older. And the love story is a great one with a man being a known playboy and Bubbles inately unaware of the spell she has him under. When I first started reading this book I was kind of bored with her going to Amish country, being from Bubbles's home town, I know Amish country, I have been to Amish country. I couldn't have imagined the outcome of the book could be so excited. I was hooked and finished it fast once I could not figure out which character was guilty of murder, fraud, and drug dealing.

IF you like the Stephanie Plumm series then you will enjoy these books. Bubbles is a hair dresser who is trying to become a reporter. These books are very funny.
Just makes you laugh at all the trouble Bubbles gets into.

It was ok. I didn't start at the beginning of the series, which may have helped with the character developement. I wasn't totally feeling Bubbles. Took longer for me to read that usual. Good story, though .. once I finally got thru it. :)

It should have been a great wedding. Alas the bride disappears and her uncle got his skull bashed in. Of course Bubbles, Lehigh's stiletto-heeled hairdressing sleuth, knows how to turn bad news into another chance at her big break as a newspaper reporter...
This is a quick fun read. I have not read the first book of the series, but it was still easy to get into the book. Sometimes, with a series if you have not read the first book, you are lost, but not with this one. I enjoyed getting to know Bubbles and her family and guy she is into. This woman who is all high hair, mini-skirts and tube tops goes to Amish country. Its a hoot!!

It's a fun series, although I don't love it as much as Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books. I think Bubbles' character isn't as fully developed - but in that vein.
