This is one of the best Low Country tales in this series. I wish there was and hopefully will be a "return to Bulls Island" book. Very funny, also clever and a little mysterious...very well written. The characters came to life for me.

Fairly typical Frank book. But, I like her books and thought this was good.
loved this book..could not put it down!
Blah... I kept reading just to see if it got any better but it didn't. It was a predictable boring read. I read about half the book and then skippped and read the last page. Not a surprise ending. So, I put the book down. I couldn't pull myself to read the other half.

As with all her books, this author's story was so well written,you feel like you are right there smelling the water, feeling the breeze. A wonderful story that you never want to end!
Good book, fun fast read, nice story with interesting characters. Dorothea Benton Frank never disappoints me.
