I love all the Bernie books. A great character with interesting plot lines. A burglar with his own code of ethics.
First in the series. Funny & different. A fun read.

I loved this book. It makes me want to read all of this series. Be sure and read the little two page explanation of how the author came to write this book at the end also. The main character is not a hero but by any means but he is smart and can figure out a mystery with the best of them.

Lawrence Block never fails to please, and his Bernie Rhodenbarr series are wonderful. Fun and exciting. This is the first Bernie Rhodenbarr book so it is a good place to start.

This is book #1 in the Bernie Rhodenbarr series by Lawrence Block! Another winner from a master of the genre! Lawrence Block has the ability to make you root for the so-called bad guy. :-)

A neat little book. Very interesting with quite a twist. You find yourself rooting for Bernie, even if he is a burglar.
I always enjoy Lawrence Block's books; they grab onto my interest within ten pages and then I almost cannot put them down when finished. This book was no different.
