I don't know how to review this book.

I didn't care much for the format of it, breaking it up into 'parts' but yet I can understand why she did that.

There was a twist to it that did throw me for a loop (which I won't reveal) but it seems at that point it kind of lost some interest for me.

I stuck with it but it had so many pages and pages of descriptions that I just skimmed over those to move on with the story.

At times it was borderline boring and the storyline has been done many times before.

5 stars for the first half of the book: there were a couple of great twists, and the writing is clever. The second half gets four stars as it is more standard thriller fare. The Burning Air is worth a read.
