My rating is based on "Star Light, Star Bright" by Anne Stuart. It's the only story I read in this anthology.
Angela McKenna has returned to her old hometown after finalizing her divorce. Her family's home has been sold, so she rents the cabin on the neighboring property. One day while out for a walk, Angela sees Brody Jackson, a guy she had a crush on in high school. Brody just wants some peace and quiet after the scandal his family caused. Angela is determined to get reacquainted with Brody and help him get into the Christmas spirit.
I usually enjoy Anne Stuart's books for their unique plots. This one just seems run-of-the-mill to me. It's a nice story, but nothing new. My rating: 3 Stars.
