This book is pretty good. I found myself skipping through some of the pages though. I thought much of it was overdone.

This was the first Susan Squires book that I've read. I really liked it. It did take me a while to get into it though. I just think It was her writting style that I had to get use to.

Well written historical paranormal-vamp romance
Susan Squires has done it again. This book is amazing. Love the story line. A must read!
The year is 1821 and all who know the beautiful, mysterious Ann Van Helsing believe she is insane. A powerful psychic, Ann has to only touch a person or an object to know everything about them. Overwhelmed by this power she is unable to control, Ann roams the woods and caves near her home seeking peace. Here she meets vampire Stephen Sincai who, to atone for a transgression against his own kind, has become a vigilante who must hunt and kill those whom other vampires have made. When Ann discovers Stephen bleeding in a cave. Before she can stop herself she reaches out to help and when she touches him she instantly knows every moment of this 2000 years of life. Drawn together, Ann and Stephen must work to fight a powerful evil determined to destroy both of them.
A part of The Companion series of books. May be read out of order without a problem. I will always pick up one of Squires series.

interesting boook couple of creases in the front cover
This book has a crinkled cover and a few pages are also crinkled. It is still in good shape and is easily read.
