This was a so-so book until about 2/3 of the way through it and then BLAM! Didn't see that one coming at all! I actually had to explain to people around me what the WOW was for. Totally put everything on a new track and made it very interesting. Certainly worth the build up. Very good book!

Faye Kellerman is a great writter so I expected this new book of her's to be a good read and I was not disapointed. This is a page turner from beginning to end with some unexpected twists and turns along the way.

This was the first Faye Kellerman book I had read, and I was caught from the beginning. I think it was somewhere around the middle that I got just a wee bit confused with characters, but overall I liked the book a lot. I've gone on to read others by this author and now I'm a fan.

Another great story - actually two murders that seem unrelated to the reader until the end. One murder took place 30 years ago and the recent one appears a murder only to the parents. I love that Ms. Kellerman has brought back Decker and Rina and the whole family. More, please!

Her newest and certainly one of her best. The horrific plane crash reveals two surprising things - no remains for one young flight attendant; long dead remains of a young woman at the bottom of the crash site. Pete Decker wants to solve both mysteries. Easy to read but very satisfying. Highly recommended!

Delving into another Decker/Lazarus book is always a delight, and this one was no exception. Decker is such a lovable, honest detective that you are right there with him as he picks up clues. There were some typos and misspellings that were annoying (Tampax spelled Tampex), but that's small stuff compared to my enjoyment of this ever-talented writer's latest book.

Excellant!!
At 8:15 in the morning, a small commuter plane carrying forty-seven passengers crashes into an apartment building in Granada Hills, California. Shock waves ripple through Los Angeles as L.A.P.D. Lieutenant Peter Decker works overtime to calm rampant fears of a 9/11-type terror attack. But a grisly mystery lives inside the plane's charred and twisted wreckage.
The fate of an unaccounted-for flight attendanttwenty-eight-year-old Roseanne Dresdenremains a question mark more than a month after the horrific event, when the young woman's irate stepfather calls, insisting that she was never onboard the doomed plane. Instead, he claims, she was most likely murdered by her abusive, unfaithful husband. But why, then, was Roseanne's name included on the passenger list?
As the jagged pieces slowly fall into place, a frightening picture begins to form: a mind-searing portrait of unimaginable evil that will challenge Decker's and Rina's own beliefs about guilt and innocence and justice.

Newest Peter Decker novel...great plot and story detail.
As always-a very good read.
This was a very good book & I had a hard time putting it down till I could get back to it.
OMG! all the great reviews? why? I have higher expectations for a book I guess
I don't like slow, sluggish moving stories and this is one of them.
I don't follow this series and now I see why, it's like reading a Stuart Woods 'Stone Barrington' book and those are just awful!
I stuck with this for 2 hours and in that amount of time it got nowhere and for me that is just a boring book, I skipped forward in several places and never found a good place to stop and continue
I'm not a fan of the Kellerman's for the reason of their slow pace of a story that takes forever to get anywhere, there are more great books out there to read than these
