Mazy leaves her mountain home in Kentucky to attend secretarial school in the city. She makes new friends, including a wealthy young man, but realizes that life is harder than she expected out on her own.
I liked this book, much as I've liked the other books by this author. While I don't know if this is part of a series, I am glad to have read the previous books as several characters from the author's former books made appearances.

Very good story. I wish Jan Watson would write more books!
