Fascinating account of a woman's search for an apartment Paris. Good writing and a story well told. Would love to read a sequel.

Ce livre est tres charmante --a memoir about an Australian family buying an apartment in Paris. As I love Paris and hope someday to live there for a few months it was right up my alley. Well written with a depiction of the French that I thought was quite accurate. Sometimes one just needs to live vicariously through others and this is a good book to do that with. Highly recommended.
