While I prefer the Cisco Press books by Wendell Odom as a primary resource for CCNA studies, the Todd Lammle book is an excellent companion to those and draws in some real-world networking examples and information to help solidify the concepts that are a bit more dryly explained (although perhaps in better depth) in the Cisco press books. Having all three on your bookshelf while studying for CCNA is a great idea.
