This was mostly a tough read for me. My biggest and only issue was the main character, Annie. She is separating from her longtime boyfriend (not by her choice) and she lets you know about it through the whole book. She was constantly whining and made it quite clear that she could not stand to be alone. I could not relate to her at all and really was tired of reading about it. I just wanted to shake her. Luckily, Sophie comes into the picture and she was much more enjoyable for me. The story was also well written. The ending was superb and made it worth hanging in there.
