Contemporary erotic novella by Nikita Black. Sahara is a free-lance photographer who heads to the Bayou to photograph a rare orchid. She gets lost in the swamps, and rescued by two verile, Hot Cajuns. Jacque's plan for a hot fling with the spicy photographer spins into something he didn't expect. I generally don't enjoy stories set in the Bayou, but this one is an exception. The characters are nicely developed, but flawed. Each one has goals for their life, which are put off track when they meet. Some of the story is far-fetched, but fun. The sex scenes are steaming. Enjoyed the book. Quick read.
This is one of the best books! I liked the humor and everything else about it. Nuff said!
Sahara Jensen grew up dirt poor. She is given an assignement that could further her career and make her rich. She travels into the Louisiana swamp to take pictures of a rare orchid. After getting lost she is rescued by Jacque and Quint Cherchate. They convince her to accompany them to a small shack in the swamp. After plying her with wine they seduce her. While Sahara finds Jacque irresistable she does not want to live the way he does. The shack with no electricity reminds her too much of where she came from.
Jacque is actually very rich but does not advertise it. He wants a women to want him for who he is. When Sahara tries to leave he holds her captive.
This is one smoking hot story. There was steam coming of the pages.
