reread this little gem from my childhood. Bud & his brother Caleb's adventures in Harleyville. Wholesome childhood story with fishing, snowball fights, and Halloween mischief.
"Me and Caleb" is probably my most favorite children's book. I read it to my fourth graders every year and they love it and beg for me to "read another just like it!" Whenever I find a copy on PaperBackSwap, I order it so that I always have one to read and an extra or two to give to other teachers. Mr. Meyer's writing is top-notch and so reminiscent of my childhood years in the South.
