Convict escapes to get his new born son thinking he will have a fight on his hands he has a big surprise the infant is relinquished without a fight and he discovers a love beyond reason.
Between Heaven and Hell lies Purgatory, Texas... a town with too few saints and to many sinners...

Good read.
I like Heidi Betts but this is one of her earlier books and she has improved as an author. The book was slow in spots and the interaction with the neighbor is not well defined. Still a good read and worth the effort
