Dodd creates a medieval world of romance and treachery. Lady Saura is a blind woman who believes she has no use in this world. However, when approached by Lord Peter to help his newly blinded son, a new world opens to her. This world offers love and understanding. This is a bit of a mystery involved when the couple is kidnapped and death threatens them both. This is a quick, enjoyable read.

Very well done! Certainly the best of Dodd's books also. This story created the best hero and heroine I've ever read. It's definitely worth a read.

this book is good if you like medival times. castles, knights, villians. all in all a good read.

One of the more unusual medieval romances, in that the heroine is BLIND, and no, she doesn't miraculously recover her sight. Dodd is a good writer and this is a heartwarming tale.

I fear there are just some authors out there that I will never like. I don't know if it's their writing style or their content but this book bored me. I love books where either the hero/heroine is scarred or has some other physical affliction. They are very endearing and shows the true power of love. But this one seems so amateurish and downright boring. The heroine is blind and she is asked to help a man (who just recently became blind)deal with his illness. Now reading that description, made me pick it up immediately.
What I got was a horrible plot and instant cure for hero's blindess. The lines were corny and even the heroine's reluctance to marry the hero was awful.
I just couldn't get through it. I hope someone else enjoys it.

This book starts slow, almost didn't finish it but it does pick up speed.

I really enjoyed "Castles In The Air" by Christina Dodd and looked forward to reading this book. However, I wasn't very impressed. There were a few funny moments and the overall story was good but it didn't grab my attention. I finished the book but it was a slow read. Not a bad book but not a keeper, in my opinion.
This was an overall okay story. William's sexist attitude early on in the story made it hard for me to like him. Saura, on the other hand, was an unusual heroine who is easy to admire.
There were a couple of times in the story where it really felt like it could have ended since things wrap up and everything's mostly hunky dory. It was like the author was starting out with a shorter story, but just made it drag on instead.
Which leads me to how I found it annoying that the "stalker" takes so long to be revealed for who he is when his actions should have made it obvious.

I'm not a big fan of medieval romance, but this one was pretty good;
the requisite happy ending was corny & hard to believe. The hero was a bit too articulate, but the story line was interesting.
