This was a Hallmark Movie recently. Story of a gal who returns home and starts a Candle business. She left a boyfriend behind but he is married when she returns. Has both touching and sad parts to it.

It had been years since one of my favorite authors, Kathy Pelletier, had written a book, and one day, I discovered that she was trying her hand at romance, and of course, under a pen name. This is one of those books, although, it really isn't a typical romance as one would think. It is a book of friendship, and a good one, too. Yes, the hero and heroine were once a couple, until she left Fort Kent, Maine for someone else. He married and built a fine life for his family. But then she (Dee Dee)comes home, with a son, and starts a candle-making business. A nice friendship evolves between his wife and Dee Dee...there is a secret...to say more gives too much away. It's a nice book and I recommend it for a cold winter night.

This book is great fun! Especially if you live in Maine, or anywhere in Aroostook County! I live in Maine, and just loved the references to Maine things. The story is nice, no bad language, graphic sex or violence. Makes you feel you would like to live there.

This is a very good book even though you can see what the ending will be a good while before you finish the book.

This is the second book I've read by the author. A very good family story with laughter and tears. Inspirational about small towns (northern Maine), growing up, illness, and helping each other.
