Candy is addictive. It's one of those books you can't put down. I'd recomend it to anyone, though it's one of the more mature books on my list, and I wouldn't give it to kids under twelve.

Great book! Kept me wanting to read so what happened next.
I didn't absolutely love it, but as I read it I did get quickly drawn into the story. It's a powerful story about a fairly innocent teen boy who develops an attachment to a girl he meets, and as a result finds himself pulled deeply into an underground world that he doesn't know or understand anything about. Told with a sense of realism and in a gradually darkening style that pulls you in the same way Joe (the main character) gets pulled into a far darker reality than any he has previously faced, you probably won't be able to stop reading it until you're done, if only because you will want to know how it ends.
Not one of my favorites, but definitely worth reading if you're into the genre.

I thoroughly enjoyed this gritty novel. THe ending while not in depth was very satisfactory.
Totally good book! Had me caught up in it from the start. Even when I couldn't read I couldn't help but think about what was happening in the book. Worrying about characters or about what would happen. It had me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Ending left a bit to be desired but overall the book rocked! :)
awesome book! great for people/teenagers into the punk rock scene.
I read this book a very long time ago but I remember loving it. It's sad, about a boy who falls in love with a troubled girl. Don't want to give too much away and I'm not sure if I'd love this book as much as a 30-year-old as I did as a 16-year-old.
