This is my first journey into the Bizarro world and it won't be my last. The awesome artwork on the cover of this book is what drew me to it.
This story is about Franklin. A quite "odd" man who life was changed when he saw his siblings eaten by the candy people. Little did we know that during the day the candy people come out to lure children with their sweet smell and then they eat them. Franklin has spent his life looking for these candy people so he can once and for all prove that they exist and destroy them.
This was a pretty intense book for me to read. I felt almost sick and dirty when I read it but still wanted more when I was done. It is definitely not for the faint hearted. You have to understand that Bizarro was meant to be sick and twisted. If you can open your mind to that I think you could really enjoy this book.

A delightful romp. If you like bizarro fiction, this is a good one. If you do not know what bizarro fiction is, this is a good one to start with. The premise is not as as far out as many other works in this genre and the plot works.

I've never read Bizzaro genre before, but I definantly will revisit. It's not for everybody. I will definantly try to find more books like these. I will never look at the game Candyland the same again.
