I really enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down. I loved how she tied science and faith together, and especially loved what she said about it being our JOB to seek the answers for illnesses. It left me with alot to think about, and perhaps a difference perspective about medical research. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Great story; lots of scientific logic presented in a highly entertaining style, with wit and even a little romance mixed in!

It took a couple of chapters for me to get into this book and I almost put it down but I am so glad that I didn't! A great read!!
Neurologist Alexandra Pace races to find a cure for a deadly disease that is already ravaging her own mind and body. Can she trust the unbelievable evidence of a healing tribe living deep in the Amazon jungle? This book takes you on an incredble journey of excitement, fear, and blind faith. Very good, interesting book.
Another excellent book by Angela Hunt!
A great book to renew your faith. Exciting and action packed from start to finish! A must read.
Good story - loved the scientific undertones. NOT fond of the ending and religious overtones. Good read for spiritual fiction fans!
I couldn't get into it ... but didn't try very hard. If a book doesn't grab me in the first few pages I move on....
Hard to put down, enthralling book. Creatively written = 5 stars!
Neurologist Alexandra Pace races to find a cure for a deadly disease that is already ravaging her own mind and body. Can she trust British physician Michael Kenway and his unbelievable story of a mythical healing tribe living deep in the Amazon jungle? Are Alex and her team willing to combat the unknown dangers lurking in the dense forest? Is her faith in Michael enough to lead them through the black waters to an antidote that can save her life?
This is a reveting tale of both the research in the Amzonian jungle as well as the frustration with the cause of Mad Cow disease & other diseases like it. The information on the diseases, called prion disease, was fascinating. The relationship between physical illness & God's desire to heal was challenging. I highly recommend this book. It's a really good story & if you have eyes to see beyond the story, it's an excellent allagory.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book by angela.
I couldn't put it down. Intriguing, adventure; I'd love to go to the Amazon except for the bugs, ants, poisonous snakes and dangers of the jungle, so I'll read about it instead.
