have to add my voice to the half & half reviews here. I'm not ordinarily a reader of paranormal/sci-fi style books. But this one really caught & held my interest. Yes, Falkon the hero could really have grabbed that controller sooner! and yes, Ashlynne the heroine was a spoiled little rich-girl who treated him badly!
But the author takes the time to explain why things are the way they are, and after all, the heroine gets "punished" for being the spoiled little rich-girl about 1/2 through the story, so I didn't understand why the other reviewers got down on her so much...I thought the love between Ashlynne & Falkon was really very tender; I loved the hero's change of heart from revenge to forgiveness.
And this story moved so quickly but not at the expense of character development! Bravo! I thought I hated sci-fi but if other sci-fi books are anything like this romance, I'd like to read more!

I am not going to do this book justice with this review. It was a great read - it had a little bit of everything in it - romance, science fiction, action, political intrigue. At times it had a Star Wars feel to it - travel between planets and different looking people. It wasn't quite what I expected, but it was a pleasant surprise - a great and enjoyable read. I am not really a space buff at all, but the descriptions were vivid and it was above all, a great love story.
