This excellent book was recommended to me by a friend who was reading it in her nursing class. It is so well done. Very dense, clear, concise. And the ideas flow naturally, one to the next. Mayerhoff very clearly cared very much about this book when he was writing it. He extends the idea of caring beyond persons and animals and includes caring for ideas and inanimate things.
