Very good book. The end was shocking. I read it so fast because I could not put it down.

Belva Plain is an interesting writer with characters who surprise you by their actions. Various family tensions run the stories. Adultry, good marriages and business and family problems all play a part.
Betrayal, abuse, love, revenge, family; and it all comes out fairly well in the end.
