I enjoyed this book like most Belva Plain books. It has a little bit of everything: love, mystery, betrayl.
The family dynasty is threatened by outside forces and a child obsessed with an heirlom silver carousel. The five-yr. old is deeply troubled and her parents must find the answer.
Belva Plain is an interesting writer with characters who surprise you by their actions. Various family tensions run the stories. Adultry, good marriages and business and family problems all play a part.
Very good book. The end was shocking. I read it so fast because I could not put it down.
