Two different stories set in similar locations in Cornwall are together in one volume. The Carousel is another cozy Pilcher story, but Voices in Summer is a bit darker than her usual stories, and both have unexpected plot twists at the end. You get a good feel for Cornwall in reading both stories and the characters are appealing and well drawn.
This is a quick read from a wonderful author.
