Wonderful story about a boy and his persistance to grow a carrot from a seed. Against all odds, he grows a carrot! Wonderful illustrations accompany this story! Great for beginner readers!
A cute little read about doubt and perserverance. My older son liked that the little boy in the book kept plugging away and listening to his heart rather than the doubters around him and how he was rewarded in the end.
We loved this book! We garden alot so our two-yr old could definitely relate to the story. It's very simple with just a few words on each page. After a couple of weeks he was reading it to himself.
