I thought this was funny and charming. If you enjoy the tall tale model and are looking for a slightly literary love story I'd recommend it. I had trouble wondering how much was real and how much was exaggeration when I probably would have been better off suspending my disbelief and going with the flow. The writing was good and the couple are fairly described as "a hoot."

A delightful tale. True? Who knows?? But Homer Hickman never fails to spin a yarn that just could be. Thanks, Homer, for another heartwarming story. Just what is needed in these times ... a story with a happy ending.
