Misprint: This classic of psychological fiction was written by the great Hungarian author Sándor Márai (19001989; the name sequence in Hungarian would be Márai Sándor), not Maria Sandor. This is an intense and exquisite depiction of the passionate mating bond between men and women. It is flawlessly interpreted in a masterful performance by the renowned actor Simon Prebble.
