Not quite as cozy as I like, will read the next one and hope it tones down a bit. Too much boozing for my liking, and sexual overtones a bit much for my taste. I don't remember the earlier ones being quite so heavy on the language and sex. Maybe it was just this one. I knew who the villian was about half way through. The others were tougher, but it was fun to visit old friends and keep up on their continuing story.

I have loved this series for the characters and the mystery. However, thIs one left me flat. Kelly did not get as involved in the sleuthing as much as before. It was just a series of phone conversations and gossip. I'm hoping the next one gets back on track.

The story seemed more about getting the heroine to have sex with her ex-boyfriend who was mean to her and dumped her then about a mystery surrounding a murder. I didn't really like this one and I really liked the others in the series.
Sorry to say I didn't like this mystery. I actually stopped reading at some point and just read the ending to see who did it.
I hated the fact that the main character kept having long conversations on her cell phone while she was driving. That is so dangerous and is banned in many states. Yuck.
