Unique and disturbing book. Not for children. A look into the dark side and formative period of Adolf Hitler as a child. The last Novel length work completed by Norman Mailer before his death in 2007. Many will put this book down before finishing, this book is not for the timid, or squeamish. Interesting Fiction, with enough fact, flavor, and color to make it readable.
Not enjoyable, but you find yourself reading as you might stare at a terrible
car accident as you pass. Thinking Thank god, its not me.

Fictionalized account of the childhood of Adolf Hitler. A look into the highly disfunctional family he was born into and their effect on his young psyche. It was fascinating but also disturbing, as of course, most things about Hitler are.
