I had a hard time getting into this book, I wasn't picturing what I needed to help me view the scenery or even picture what the characters looked like. I'm not sure if that was my fault or the author's, but I stuck with it because I liked her Earth Witch series so much. I'm glad I did though, it was really good. Roland always integrates a few animals into the mix which for me makes it even better. There is sex, lots of action, some funny parts, and some sad parts too. Looking forward to the second one.
