Another Great Murder Mystery Book by Rita Mae & Sneaky Pie!
Brown pulls off an amazing feat: she carries the plot forward through animal characters who are completely believable. And she cleverly maintains her humans' ignorance of what the animals are staying and thinking--only the reader knows for sure.
Sneaky Pie and her co-horts (animal and human both) are fun. Fast, fun read.
I'm loving this series and the characters. Harry's curiosity is going to get the better of her if she isn't careful. Her pets certainly share the curiosity trait. This book is another good one.
Someone is shot during a Civil War enactment in front of a lot of spectaters with real bullets. Harry & Mrs. Murphy help to solve the mystery.
Cat lovers will especially be fond of this book.

Crozet is having a Civil War enactment, a popular man disappears. His plane is not seen by anyone but Mrs. Murphy, out mousing. Then the enactment takes place and a participant ends up with real bullets in his back. This is another enjoyable book in this series. I've enjoyed every single one of them.
