Once again, Kelly doesn't disappoint. Loved this story as much as the others. Look forward to the next one in the series. The fact that I'm a cat person doesn't hurt either. Owen and Hercules are very special in more ways than one. She does write about cats in a very appealing way. This pair of brothers are just the same in coloring as my sister's two cats. And please believe me when I say the sympathy they show in the story, when Kathleen got hurt, can happen with real cats, I have a Siamese that was with me the whole time as I was going through shoulder damage and the following surgery. He slept with me and on me when he felt it necessary. When someone close to them is hurt, they will do everything in their limited way to be there with love and caring.

Thoroughly entertaining 4th installment in the Magical Cats cozy mystery series. Yet another mysterious death in Mayville Heights and despite herself Kathleen gets involved in solving the mystery. Her relationship with the handsome detective, Marcus, is heating up as well. And, of course, Hercules and Owen are right in the mix of things. Great cozy read. Looking forward to the next installment!

First and foremost, Ms Kelly is so spot on with her description of Owen and Hercules that I am sure she must have a pair at home. Only without the invisibility and walking through walls. Anyway...Kathleen is at it once again. Although, Hercules is the one that finds the body of loud mouth, Mike Glazer. Of course, Marcus wants Kathleen to stay out of it. I do wish Marcus and Kathleen would move a little faster in their relationship. I feel like Roma or Maggie by saying that! Once again an enjoyable read! 4 stars
