Though I really liked the plot of this book, the ending seemed thrown together and left a lot of loose ends and questions.

Great as always. Quilleran and his cats and Moose County and the people, all fun and entertaining. Mysteries written with clean language and good humor.

Qwilleran moves into an old apartment building, and tries to keep it from being demolished. But he has a bigger problem, a murder mystery.
Enjoyed the book
Wonderful story-especially for cat lovers!
Qwilleran and Koko solve another crime. This is fun, quick reading for anyone, who is allowed to live in the same house with felines.
The adventures of Koko snd Yum Yum are intersting to follow if you are a cat lover.
A great book for cat and mystery lovers alike.
YA-- They're back--the noble Koko, the charmer YumYum--and their wealthy retired owner, Quill. Here, the benevolent benefactor of Moose County packs the Purple Plum--his small, energy-efficient car--with the two inquisitive and endearing Siamese and leaves his cozy home for the winter. This newest addition to the series is a delight that will enchant long-time followers of the irresistible trio as well as first-time readers.
A cute member of the "Cat Who..." series.
The news that reached Pickax City early on that cold November morning sent a deathly chill through the small northern community. The Pickax police chief, Andrew Brodie, was the first to hear about the car crash. It had occurred four hundred miles to the south, in the perilous urban area the locals called Down Below.
The victim had been driving through the heart of the city on a four-lane freeway when the occupants of a passing car fired shits at him, according to witnesses, causing him to lose control of his vehicle, which crashed into a concrete abutment and burned. The driver's body was consumed by flames, but through the license plates the registration had been traced to James Qwilleran, fifty-two, of Pickax City.

1991 Jove Book Publication. Qwill, Koko and Yum Yum move into the Casablanca Apartments.
I'm a big fan of the cat who series. Never disappointed.
Jim Qwilleran with his two cats, Yum Yum and KoKo help to solve the mystery case behind the Casablanca apartment buildings
I enjoyed this book as well as all the others in this series.
The colorful Casablanca apt. building is in danger of demolition..but not is Jim can help it. He's a prize winning reporter with a nose for news. So he moves in with Koko & Yum Yum and discovers great mysteries of the Casablanca Apts. In his apt.a glamorous art dealer met an untimely fate, and the veteran journalist and his crime solving cats are about to solve a crime! ( Koko is a Siamese cat with extraordinary talents and a flair for mystery. Yum Yum is a loveable Siamese adored by her 2 male companions. A most unliky team in dective fiction. )
A nice cozy mystery read. While Koko was busy solving the crime and flooding the bathroom ... Yum Yum was a princess snuggled on a warm waterbed. Qwill does have arrogant airs about him which are starting to annoy me ... but I guess that goes along with Siamese. ;-) But I do enjoy this series and I'm reading my way through the whole set.
INTERESTING! HAS YOU BELIEVEING ONE THING BUT DOES SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT.
Definitely not one of the best of The Cat Who... series. While still a quick and relatively fun read, the mystery was a little vague and did not have a very satisfying end.

The colorful Casablanca apartment building is in danger of demolition-but not if Jim Qwilleran can help it. He's determined to restore the building to it original grandeur. So he moves in with Koko and Yum Yum-and discovers that the Casablanca is steeped in history...and mystery. In Qwill's very apartment, a glamorous art dealer met an untimely fate and the veteran journalist and his crime-solving cats are about to reach new heights in detection as the evidence builds up...and the Casablanca threatens to crumble down around them! Qwilleran -a prize winning reporter with a nose for crime. Koko -a siamese cat with extraordinary talents and a flair for mystery. Yum Yum -a lovable Siamese adored by her two male companions. The most unlikely, most unusual, most delightful team in detective fiction!
