Love these cat mysteries. Even got a cat that is part Siamese cause the author make them sound so great.

You know, I really don't much care for cats. I do, however, absolutely love these Cat Who... books. They are about as cozy as it gets, yet the slow-paced life of Qwilleran and his cats 400 miles north of everywhere in Moose County are just priceless.

I read all the books in this light-hearted series one after another and really enjoyed them. The cat KoKo and his feline partner, Yum Yum, are endearing. Their owner is a former newspaper reporter, James Qwilleran. They live in a small town with lots of interesting residents. James can't seem to avoid murders though he sure would like to. The series ended abruptly with unresolved relationships due to the author's death at 97.

Good humor. Enjoyable read.
A nice light mystery, read in one night.
The Cat Who books are one of my favorite series of mystery novels. Jim Qwilleran is a class act and his cats Koko and Yum Yum are two of the best detectives ever. When Qwilleran and the cats move into a haunted house, their detecting abilities are put to the test.

Qwilleran and his cats find his ex-housekeeper frightened to death - is it ghosts - his cats seem to think so.
This series is awesome and some of the best cozy mysteries I have read.

I love "The Cat Who" books. I'm rereading the series. If you're on book 10 then you're a fan already. This is where Braun really gets into her stride with the series.
Qwilleran is sitting at home when he gets a call from one of his old friends. It's Mrs. Cobb and she sound really afraid. After asking many times, she says that she thinks there is a ghost in her house. Qwill decides to go and calm her down, but when he arrives, she is dead. After he and his mystery-solving cats move into her old house to try to figure out who or what killed Mrs. Cobb, strange things happen. He discovers many things about her odd house that he would never have guessed.

Another excellent "cat" novel by Braun!
wonderful characters in an interesting setting
Another great Siamese cat mystery ... although Koko doesn't have quite a lead role (until the end) in this one as some of the others. Polly's new kitten, Bootsie, almost has a more leading role. It begins with the sad death of Mrs. Cobbs. I really enjoyed her character and hated to see her killed off. :(

I really liked this book; I liked the mystery, I liked Qwill, I liked the cats. But personally I think Qwill is morally cheap. Other than that, a good book.
