I wasn't crazy about the ending of this book, I've read several of her books and usually like them, this was good except felt unfinished at the end.

I normally love the cat who books and I loved this one right up until the end. The ending did not bring much closure to the book and I felt unsatisfied with the finish.

Was a big fan of "The Cat Who" books. This one disappointed me. Very slow and boring-kept waiting for something to happen. The older "Cat Who" books were MUCH better.

I haven't found a Cat Who book that isn't great. This was no disappointment. Enjoyed it very much. Love Koko and YumYum!

It took me a little bit to get into this book, once I was past the first chapter I zoomed right through and really enjoyed it. It is a light read with humorous small town characters.

James Qwilleran and his famous felines, Koko and Yum Yum, are back for another mystery-solving crime A new bookstore, The Pirate's Chest, about to open, but the Theatre Club is set to perform Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. A member of the cast is killed in a car accident. Koko seems to suspect otherwise,
, Qwill and his cats have their work cut out for them.
Fast paced, fun ready. Mystery lovers will enjoy this, along with cat lovers as well.

I still love the characters in these books, and the author does a good job of describing people and places and things going on, etc, but I'm disappointed with these later books. They really do a poor job with the mystery part. In this book, a mystery is starting to develop you start wondering how its going to end and then...the main suspect dies in an accident and we're left with Qwill saying to himself that the mystery will always remain unsolved.

Well after 30 books in the Cat Who series you kind of wonder if KoKo and Yum Yum should continue sluething or just retire. This book is middle of the road not good but not bad. Definitely for fans only. At this point I don't read them for the mystery but only to visit my friends in Pickax...400 miles north of everywhere.
