I read all the books in this light-hearted series one after another and really enjoyed them. The cat KoKo and his feline partner, Yum Yum, are endearing. Their owner is a former newspaper reporter, James Qwilleran. They live in a small town with lots of interesting residents. James can't seem to avoid murders though he sure would like to. The series ended abruptly with unresolved relationships due to the author's death at 97.

A summer's vacation in a well-appointed log cabin in the woods but of course murder has to raise its ugly head so that Koko and Qwilleran can solve it.

You know, I really don't much care for cats. I do, however, absolutely love these Cat Who... books. They are about as cozy as it gets, yet the slow-paced life of Qwilleran and his cats 400 miles north of everywhere in Moose County are just priceless.

Excellent book in the series!! KoKo is still up to his detective work, and it's an entertaining story.
not as good as some of the others in the series ... but still a nice read.
Qwilleran dicided to spend the summer in the cabin. Unforuntily his cabin started to break down. In doing so he becomes center to a murder mystery.
