This is an excellent book that really takes you into the times of Christ's crucifixion & rsurrection. We see what is happening through the eyes of a centurion used by Pilate to find out the truth as well as the maid of Pilate's wife who warned Pilate not to crucify Jesus because of her dreams. We also experience the struggle of the Roman centurion to Believe as well as the Jewish unbelieving maid as they both stuggle with what they are taught & what they are learning about this new God called Jesus. I really enjoyed stepping back into the time of Christ as seen through the eyes of 2 different perspectives.
This was a well-written fiction account of the Centurion whose servant was healed by Jesus and the beginnings of the first Church. Highly recommended.
