This is the second novel of Ragen's that I've read and I have the same criticism this time; she is just too melodramatic and soap-opera in tone for my liking. Sorry, Ms. Ragen--I appreciate good Jewish-themed literature, being Jewish myself, but this just doesn't do it for me.
Any Naomi Ragen fan will be thrilled to read this book. Semi autobiographical account of growing up and "finding yourself" and understanding those around you.
A beutiful, heartwarming story.
