The Sheikh in this story is a horse ranch owner who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. The heroine a fast paced business woman who wants to learn to ride to impress a client meets him and mistakes him for a ranch hand. When sparks fly, she thinks of having a meaningless fling, but everything changes when she finds out he's the boss.

The hero and heroine, both battling past demons learn to overcome their fears, open their hearts and look forward. Set outside of Savannah on a horse farm, Kristi weaves a tale of an investment banker learning to ride inorder to advance her career. The sheik is attracted to her, and sets his sights on obtaining her, without the complication of settling down. They both find that they are lost, and ultimately make the step toward happily ever after
