Very good anthology of related stories centering around three girlfriends who work at Second Chances, a homeless shelter for abused women. All the characters were engaging and plots were nicely balanced between romance (spicy--yum), vulnerability, and conflict. And while the heroes were appealing in their own ways, Grant from Luck Be Delanie was my particular favorite; however, I do have to say there is something very hot about a man in uniform (Craig) and falling for your hunky best friend (Justin). Fun, quick read. 4 stars.
