In an attempt to empower low-income youth, more than a thousand children are raised to become miniature copies of opular rags-to-riches politician Alexander Marcus, but they end up acquiring his bloodthirsty depravities, as well as the brilliance and the cunning he used to hide them. Reporter Renny Sand and Kelly Kerrigan, a former CIA agent turned theatrical sharpshooter, and dressmaker Vivian Emory along with her perceptive son Patrick, all take part in the unending struggle of good people fighting evil.
Well written---grips the reader strongly and just drags him along willy-nilly . . .
