I really enjoyed this, I read it in less than two days. Good story and I'm eager to read the rest of the series! It was very touching at the end, and I had tears in my eyes, but in a good way!

Loads of fun here: Romance and mystery and adventure. What more can you ask? Janet Chapman does it all. Reads fast, keeps you turning the pages.

I really enjoyed this book. This was the first book of this author that I read but I am very glad I tried this book. I laughed out loud at some parts and I cried at some parts. It was a very entertaining book and I'm coming back for more.

This a good series involving magic and family. This character reminded me a lot of Diana Gabaldon's James Fraser
