Shelby H. (Shaverda) reviewed Chasing Lance: The 2005 Tour de France and Lance Armstrong's Ride of a Lifetime (with 20 photos included) on + 17 more book reviews
Helpful Score: 2
Overall, I enjoyed this book, but one thing wasn't as I expected -- this is the _author's_ literal experience at the tour, not so much a "live" review at the race, and not so much about Armstrong as I expected. It's the author's personal musings on the tour really.
This book is at times actually "laugh out loud" funny, but it's kind of crude humor at times (like when he's talking about how priapic the stage winners usually are).
Anyhow, I enjoyed this, but if you're looking for a "live" review of the tour, you might try out Wilcockson's books. Otherwise, give this one a try. :)
