Paranormal erotic romance from Samhain Publishing, and sequel to Seeing Eye Mate. Eli returns from an extended assignment, and plans to claim his mate, Nikki, and live happily ever after. But, he gets home to find that Nikki has been attacked, and while recovering from that, witnessed a murder. She's not the same woman she was. So, its up to Eli to keep her safe from a murderer, and explain to her that she belongs with him. There's not a lot of surprises in this story, Eli is the classic macho, dominant jerk, and expects Nikki to accept everything he throws at her. There's not a lot of surprises in the storyline, the sex scenes are hot, and plentiful. I've read both better and worse.

Victim of triple assault, rape and attempted murder, witnessed gruesome triple murder and rape, another 3 attempts on her life and more violent rape, all happening to one girl. All very graphic. I actually had nightmares about witnessing assault and rape. The writing was good but story has way too graphic violence. Recommend CAUTION!

This is the first book, of Annmarie McKenna's that I have read, and it was very good. I consider this book to be soft core erotica. This book has suspense, humor, and mildly hot sex. This book is a sequel, and I have added the first book to my wish list. I highly suggest reading this book.

It was as good as the first book in the 2 book series. Again could not put it down till I had read the entire book.
