Another collection of the hilarious and ridiculous antics in the life of Chelsea Handler. This time she tells the story of her discovery of the joy of masturbation and finding out who the dumbest person on her staff is. And, her family, especially her father, rarely get portrayed in a good light.
This is definitely not a book to read in public, unless you like have people stare at you as you laugh hysterically. I found it to be a quick and fun read. Ms Handlers books are great for those times when you need something to make you smile and even if you dont.
Its definitely got adult themes, and Id be very leery of letting anyone under 16 (and maybe even 21) read it.

For some reason, Id really hoped this one was going to be funnier than it actually was. I dont know why I thought that... If Id actually seen any of Chelsea Handlers television show, I sure dont think I would have thought that, but something about the way I saw blonde and smiling and brash on the cover and I was interested enough in giving it a shot. Thank goodness for used books.
I read this one aloud to my wife over the course of a few weeks as we lazed in bed together. She enjoyed it a lot more than I did. This is a collection of essays, as might be expected, of Chelseas various exploits. The sad thing is, her exploits basically tell the stories of a spoiled rich woman who has people to take care of her if its needed. I never felt connected to her humor at all --- she lives in a world far removed from mine.

I am a huge Chelsea Handler fan - I liked this book but I didn't love it. I felt the same way about her other books.

Very funny book! I didn't really have high hopes for this due to the fact that I generally dislike her tv show. Some of the stories were not my type of humor, but most of them had me laughing out loud. I liked it enough that I may seek out her other books.
