This was one of three and I enjoyed the two I read. A good solid read, a lot learned about shoing horses/ . it is neither too technical or too frothy . Unfortunately the third book in the series got lost in the mail, and I was disappointed. I am still trying to find it.
In the second installment of the Natalie Gold series, Henry and Nattie are investigating a murder of a beauty queen and a psycho killer with a hit list. Henry and Nattie are starting to show a romantic interest in each other while staying at Natalie's former roommate's house. The book centers around a tobacco scandel and Natalie attending a George Morris riding clinic. This book makes me excited to read the third in the series.
