Chicks 'N Chained Males
Author: Esther Friesner
Continuing a great tradition, Chicks 'n Chained Males is not what you think. That place is down the block, on another street, in another city. In fact, if that's what you're looking for, one of our Chicks, Helga her name is, will be over shortly to give you a send-off you won't soon forget. This creative, funny collection of short stories spoofs the famous plotline of damsels in distress by having women warriors of various types rescuing the males in danger that cross their paths. The settings range from ancient Greece to Africa to the core of the earth and all types of situations are created by the authors included in this third "Chicks" anthology. This humorous collection is certainly worth a read.

Third in the series. This one focuses on swordswomen rescuing men, many of them (the men, that is) in chains.

This is the weakest book in the Chicks in Chainmail anthology series, but it's still very enjoyable. This volume is almost exclusively humorous stories in fantasy trappings, rather than straight fantasy with some light moments, and due to the title of this volume most of them have BDSM as either a punchline or a main theme. Since I do not find BDSM interesting or amusing, the stories that focused on it didn't grab me or make me smile, but they were still generally well written, and the stories that left it as a side note or a one-time joke were great.

Lots of fun! I think these stories just get better the more of them I read. Don't miss it.

Eighteen stories of warrior women who come to men in distress. The tables have been turned! This is the second in, what I hope will be, a series. These women may look like "babes" in very little chain mail, but they show themselves to be able to take care of themselves...and other men.

The stories are truly an original and definitely a twist to read.

Really nice collection of stories; some of them left me wanting to know more... which is the intention of the editor, so yeah, good stories all around!
