First of all, I LOVE the layout of this book. It is organized in a way that you can read it cover to cover or skip around from chapter to chapter and still have your knowledge increase.

Second, it is written in the language of parents, which says alot. There are quite a few autism books out there that you simply have to read along with a dictionary.

And it also mentions other syndroms and dysfunctions that are commonly mistaken for autism. Such a good, easy to read book.

This is the kind of book that you just want to give to a friend who has even the slightest wonder about their child having autism, just to get things rolling and nipped in the bud. A must read/keep/reference for parents of kiddies with autism.
