I've had to make some very difficult life decisions over the years and so it was very easy for me to relate to the main character, E.J. This is a wonderful story that demonstrates how we should love others as Christ as loved us!

A wonderful read. It keeps you guessing how it is going to turn out. Does she give up her baby conceived by a date rape?
I'm a fan if Lori Copeland and am catching up on some of her ealier works. This one addresses date rape and abortion vs adoption from a surprising view-point.
What an awesome story! I don't often read chick lit, but was so drawn in from the very beginning of this book, that it was hard to put down. So much that was said could be applied to any situation in which we might find ourselves. For example: E.J.'s grandma tells her, "...Sometimes we don't like what life gives us, but denying our state won't help...."
Highly recommend.
Highly recommend.
E.J. is a successful career woman in Los Angeles, Until she is drugged and date raped. She is a young single woman and discovers that she is pregnant from the Date rape. She goes back to her hometown and her only parent Grandma to make a decision. Surely she not required to carry a pregnancy of rape. The townspeople are good, supportive people. Can she count on God to help her through this mess? One incident after another Happens to people that she cares about back home. Can she make a new start in her hometown? This is an interesting, well written book on a young women who is date raped and what shall she do? This is a novel, but this is an all too common problem in today's society. What would you do? What will E.J. Do? Read the book and find out.
