This is a great book!! I simply could not put it down and read it within a few hours.
This book is a biblical account of the endtimes that we are now living in. I have met the author, Irvin Baxter. He has studied current events as they relate to endtime prophecy for many years. Check out his website www.endtime.com. Extremely informative. Not fantasy or science fiction.
Wonderful Book! Definately hard to put down once you begin. Saw Irvin this past week at a conference and had him sign the book. This will be a book I hang onto. Enjoy!
This is the first book that I have ever read by Irvin Baxter and I would reccomend it to anyone who is just getting started reading about End Times Prophecy.
The plot line is fairly simple and the book flows. The story pretty much follows some of the current interpretations that most Christian hold about the end of days.
Those who believe that true Christians will be raptured -pre-tribulation (rescued by God before the seven years of Armageddon) will be either disappointed or angered because that is not Baxter's point of view.
The "two witnesses" are only human men - not two of the ancient prophets sent by God to occupy that role as in the Left Behind Series.
Don't let your own personal viewpoints keep you from reading a fairly decent novel.

This book does not stand up to other Christian books on the End Times. It is a very slow read.
